Summary of the project to be financed:
Installation of 179.20 kWp photovoltaic self-consumption for the electrical supply of the cold rooms of a company in the meat sector in the town of Orihuela (Alicante, Spain).
It is a project of the PROSOLIA ENERGY group, through the company NEWCO DEVELOPMENTS SL, for the supply of renewable energy to the Matadero-Orihuela SA company by installing a solar self-consumption system on its own roof, a connection to its internal network low voltage and a long-term contract (PPA) for the sale of the renewable electricity produced.
With the start-up of this renewable energy installation, it is estimated that more than 78 tons of CO2 will no longer be emitted into the atmosphere annually.

Description of the facility to be financed:
The solar power station will be made up of 560 solar panels of 320 W of power each, installed on the current roof of the factory through an aluminum support structure.
3 inverters will be installed and the installation will have 156 kW of total nominal power.
The support structures for the panels on the roof will be made of fixed type steel and will be directly connected to the existing structure of the building, so that the panels are arranged on the roof of the building. The panels will have an inclination angle of 15º or equal to the roof and azimuth equal to that of the roof.
It also includes the supply and installation of:
-Junction boxes
-Wiring and connectors. DC low voltage lines from the panels to the inverter (s);
- Low voltage AC evacuation lines from the inverter (s) to the connection point (QGBT) in the customer's internal network;
- Energy telemetry system;
- Monitoring system;
The photovoltaic installation will generate 286 MWh / year of which 276.70 MWh / year will be consumed at the customer's own facilities, representing a coverage of the customer's global consumption of 20.98%.

Collective loan guarantees:
This collective loan has the unlimited personal guarantee of the requesting company, NEWCO DEVELOPMENTS SL, as well as the solidarity consolidation of the company PROSOLIA ESPAÑA SL (both companies of the PROSOLIA ENERGY group) and the transfer of credit from the energy sale contract with MATADERO-ORIHUELA SA.
MATADERO-ORIHUELA SA Information:
Matadero Orihuela S.A. is an industry of the meat sector dedicated to the slaughter of animals of the sheep, goat, pig, bovine and equine species. We are the only company in the province of Alicante that offers this service. The only slaughterhouse in Alicante and Murcia that has an approved laboratory for the analysis of swine trichinae, which shows the quality of our facilities as well as our commitment to provide the best service and quality.
Matadero Orihuela S.A. was founded in 1997 by a group of enthusiastic and enterprising people with the aim of filling the gap left by the forced closure of municipal slaughterhouses that could not undertake the reforms imposed by law.
It has been a long time since then, we have grown in facilities, in service and we provide services throughout Spain, as well as to companies in France and Algeria.
